Albuquerque Journal Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah wild a locale that is stunning wild stone structures and dazzling evening heavens

Transformed from the backwoods research location up to a bona fide backwoods couple of years ago, the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness, perhaps maybe not not even close to Chaco Canyon, is really a 10,000-acre geological treasure-trove.

But not also referred to as the nearby Bisti Badlands, Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah is a massive, hoodoo-dominated number of unusual and rock that is wild.

“It’s a backwoods location that is actually a badlands wilderness area,” said Stan Allison, a Bureau of Land control outside fun planner. “It’s known because of its outstanding badlands.”
